Family Computer Problem

I have a Family Computer and when I turn it on nothing happens as if it is dead. But a few times, I turned it on and the games played fine BUT THAT JUST HAPPENED A FEW TIMES. Most of the time I turn it on, nothing happens at all. I even opened up the bottom of the console and cleaned it with canned air but it didn't solve the problem. Anyone know what the problem is? Thanks.

Sounds like a power supply problem. You may have a loose solder connection on the PCB or perhaps a broken wire. It's hard to say without breaking out a multimeter and testing the circuitry.
