Ok, admit it. Everyone here who has been playing video games for any length of time will have to be able to come up with at least one game that used that same sample so ofter it drove you nuts. How about the game that drove you cukoo-for-cocopuffs.

In my case, the offending game was, is, and shall always be CYBERMORPH for the Jaguar.. To this day, I'm still haunted by ... "where did YOU learn to fly?" arrrggghhhh! @_@ @_@

I'm not sure if they changed it for the retail version, but the demo of TMNT for PS2 was pretty bad.

"Talk to the foot! Talk To The Foot! Slice and Dice! Slice and Dice!"

Blades Of Steel, "Get The Pass! Get The Pass!"

Man, that one drove me nuts.

Street Sk8er 2. I got sick of the announcer in about 3 minutes of this wretched game. "Oh, is that a new one?" SHUT UP.

Playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 against certain human opponents. Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Arctic Attack! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Arctic Attack! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam! Icebeam!......

If you play Tony Hawk's Underground too much, you will get sick of the phrases "My ankle!" and "My KNEE!". Novel the first time you hear them, at least.

Hot Shots Golf 3 is a game best played with no volume at all.

Silouette Mirage. "REFLECTION!"

Baldur's Gate. "You must gather your party before venturing forth." Though, I once had a hand-me-down computer I was playing Baldur's Gate on that had no sound card, so I had to get one and install it. For someone like me, whose technical expertise is limited to knowing where the 'any' key is, this was a significant challenge. Once I finally got it working (hey, tech support guy? The problem was that, I, er, hadn't gotten it set quite right in the socket. Eheheheh...), I greeted every noise with joy. I may be the first person in history to shout, "I love you, you-must-gather-your-party-before-venturing-forth guy!"

I never understood why people hated Cybermorph... and then I got the 1 MB version that talks a lot less... Fair 'nuff.

I'd just like to wholeheartedly agree with TMNT for the current version of consoles. I enjoy the game, but I can't stand how every time I make a move, my turtle exclaims "SLICE AND DICE!" just like someone else mentioned. Yeesh.

Silouette Mirage. "REFLECTION!"

THIS IS 100 PCT TRUE! But It's

REFLECTOR
REFLECTOR
REFLECTOR (x100)

coupled with the EXTREMELY high pitched voice of the VA it's just awful.

Frightening....all 3 games I immediately thought of were mentioned....

That's really bad then when multiple peopel agree ^o^

The one that gets me in any game though, to the point of running and screaming out of the room, are the freaking games that starting beeping like an alarm clock when your health is low.

I KNOW IT'S LOW, STFU!!!

Crazy Taxi for Dreamcast x_x. Man, those samples get done to death in the mere span of the first few times you play it.

"Shut up and move yo' butt....Shut up and move yo' butt...Shut up and move yo' butt...Shut up and move yo' butt..."

Just shut up already...

Resident Evil 4. The bad guys say the same few phrases to you over and over. They are in Spanish so it's harder to pick up, but if you pay attention then you hear it. Those evil monks are the same way, but they are chanting so it's more understandable.

I played some ECW wrestling game on the N64 at my friends house back when the N64 was rad, and it has the WORST voice samples ever!!! The announcers would say the same 5-10 things no matter what you did, and they commented on just about every move. LOL

Morrowind had the most repetitive sound bytes I think I've ever heard. Made the game much more boring.

Arc the Lad (PS2) had battle voices everytime you attacked. Luckily, the devolopers knew how annoying this was so they gave you the option of turning them off.
