Mind's kind of fuzzy, but I think you're asking for games that started on PC, then came to the PSX Later, not ones that co-existed at release:
Civilization II
Command and Conquer
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Command and Conquer: Red Alert: Retaliation
Cyberia
Space Hulk
Theme Park
Wing Commander III
Wing Commander IV
Warcraft 2
Basically anything early EA...

That's going to make for a really long list then...alot of popular PSX titles like Metal Gear Solid and Tomb Raider were later done on PC.
EDIT: Duh nevermind. I didn't get enough sleep last night apparently. :monkey:

I can't think of any PC games ported to the PSX that were actually better than the PC version. These are pretty good though:
Crusader: No Remorse
Civ 2
Warcraft 2
MechWarrior 2

Although these are more like PSX games that happened to have PC releases.

Braindead 13

Granted, some of the above are recent enough that you wouldn't need DosBox to run them effortlessly. Another thing you can try on the PC front is using a front-end for DosBox called DFend. It pretty much takes all the crap out of configuring DosBox; just create individual profiles for games, and if they don't work like you'd like, you just exit the game, and DFend is still open so you can tweak any setting you'd like.

If you wanted to be The Man, oldschool, you could edit in a list of games we've mentioned in your first post, so people don't waste time and space mentioning games that have already been listed.

thats because it sucks :D
the 3d games were even worse, I picked up rayman 2 the other and it was bleeding awful
A Diablo-like PC-port called Darkstone came out during the final few months of the PSX run. It was SO low priced. I have a sealed copy around here somewhere. It should still be easy to find as sealed and everywhere as used.
Take 2 Interactive....2000....product number SLUS-01182. Take 2 made a whole slew of PC to PSX ports. Hop onto TAKE2GAMES.com

Well, maybe that's why you wouldn't mention it, but that's not why no one else did. O_o You're definitely in the minority; most people I've come across like Rayman a lot. Heck, I don't care for very many games created by non-Japanese developers, but Rayman is one of the few I do like.

okay the 2d was alright but the 3d ones get blown out of the water by even the crappiest n64 game.
