View Full Version : Best exclusive games (for every system)?

What games do you think are the best ones that were exclusively released on one system? Like M.C Kids on the Nes or Gunstar Heroes on the Genesis? (Thereīs no limit on number of games or systems. If a game has the same name but different gameplay it considers as a different game)

Gamecube-Super Monkeyball 1 & 2
Super Monkeyball 2 is also for xbox and ps2 :)You're right. And Lemmings was on several systems now that you mention it.
But I knew Super Monkeyball Deluxe is now ported to the other two. But you have to grade the NGC and Amiga on a curve. :D
SMB was a Gamecube exclusive for the GC until market pressure for the $ allowed SEGA/AV to port the games over. So I still say it's the best exclusive I've played for the NGC.
And I may be wrong on Lemmings. I just remember buying a 500 because of the graphics and soundtrack from that game. And it was a Psygnosis game-so I assumed it was Amiga first.
If the game is so great and addictive that a port was inevitable, can't I get a free pass on those two?
:embarrassed:

Which Mario game(s) are you refering to?
I wouldnt count SMB3 in Super Mario Allstars for SNES or Super Mario Advance 4 for GBA the same game. They are remakes, not the exact same game, but thats me :)

I didnīt know M.C kids was ported to that systems.
SMB3, SMB3-All Stars and SMB Advance 4 are basically the same game, I wouldnīt count them.
Sonic has been released on at least 2 compilations, Phantasy Star was released on the Genesis.
I want games you can only play on the systems they were released (not counting emulators, of course :P )

SNES-

Jaguar - Alien Vs. Predator and Tempest 2000 (yes, other versions of T2K did come out for other systems, but while they looked similar the gameplay was changed significantly - so to me, the 'true' version is a Jaguar exclusive).

I'm going with Mick and Mack Global Gladiators for the Genesis. ALthough I haven't played the game in years, I do remember racking up numerous hours of gameplay with the guy across the street (he actually owned the game).

Damn, most of my top games have been ported or re-released. I'm not including arcade ports on my list as they're not really exclusive either. I'm not counting homebrew ports/remakes.
2600 - Solaris
Odyssey2 - Killer Bees!
Intellivision - Beauty and the Beast(not great but I'm having a hard time thinking of good InTV games that aren't ports or in compilations)
ColecoVision - 2010
SG-1000 - Girl's Garden
Vectrex - Mine Storm
7800 - Alien Brigade
NES/FDS - Doki Doki Panic(exclusive in that form anyway)
Master System - Kenseiden(I guess WB3 doesn't count because of Dragon's Curse)
TurboGrafx-16 - Blazing Lazers
TurboGrafx CD - Dracula X(the SNES game is different)
Genesis - Shinobi III
Sega CD - Batman Returns(playing just the driving portion makes it separate from the cartridge game)
32X - Kolibri
Neo Geo - Flip Shot
SNES - Super Metroid
3DO - Blade Force(there's probably something better I'm forgetting)
Jaguar - Aliens vs Predator(I haven't played Defender 2000 yet)
Saturn - Panzer Dragoon Saga
Playstation - Xenogears
Nintendo 64 - Sin and Punishment
Dreamcast - Jet Grind Radio
Playstation 2 - GTA: San Andreas(it has a few months left)
Gamecube - Pikmin 2
Xbox - Halo 2
Game Boy - Donkey Kong('94)
Lynx - Gates of Zendocon
Game Gear - GG Shinobi Part 2
Game Boy Color - Bionic Commando: Elite Forces
NGPC - SNK vs Capcom: MotM
Game Boy Advance - Metroid: Zero Mission
PC - Half-Life 2
I'm not going to bother with older computer formats as so few games were exclusives and it would take too long to sort them out.
