Replacement battery for a white Japanese Saturn

I recently bought a very nice white Japanese Saturn (unboxed, but with manual, all cables, and in basically unplayed condition! It looks brand new - not a single blemish or scratch.) The internal battery is clearly dead, though, since everytime I turn the system it asks me to correct the date.

Is the replacement battery the same as I have seen mentioned for the American saturn? What else to I need to get/do to make sure it's working great? All the games I have tried in it (all Japanese games, naturally) work fine so far...

I assume it would the same battery used in an American Saturn (CR-2032). But then again, I've never looked at a Japanese Saturn before. YMMV.

Yes it's the same as the US system.
