[I didn't post this in eBay Insanity, because I thought this was a valid topic for the regular forum.]

That's interesting. I thought that they were strictly a Master System company. Of course, they didn't develop this certain game, they just published it for the Brazilian markets.

Does anybody else have more info on Tec Toy outside of the Master System?

Oh, no... TecToy did a lot of Sega platforms. I have several Megadrive games published by TecToy, a 32x Star Wars Arcade game by TecToy, and I think they did a few Saturn games as well.

Cheers

They released Brazilian versions of every Sega system from the Master System to Dreamcast (SMS/MD/CD/32X/GG/SAT/DC).

None of the other systems were anywhere near as popular there as the Master System was, though. There's a few exclusive Mega Drive games, but I'm not aware of any for the other formats.

These aren't just BS "games built in" consoles? They actually have functioning cart slots that you can play any SMS (or whatever) cart in?

If so, I waaaannnnt 'em. White hardware = teh sex.

The SMS Handy (the one shaped kinda like a Dreamcast pad) has no cart slot. All TecToy's other SMS units do.

Yeah... DUKE NUKEM!

It plays really smoothly for a Megadrive/Genny FPS game, and it's almost full screen! Too bad it's NOTHING like the PC game. More like a bunch of empty hallways.
