This is a petiton asking that NISA (Nippon Ichi Software of America) release a Marl kingdom trilogy stateside. It's a kick ass series that really got off to a bad start over here intially. You can hardly expect an RPG to become an overnight blockbuster with a low production run and the marketing of a barbie game. But now that Nippon Ichi's got this big reputation as a tactical RPG delevopler and branching out into localization, I think the series would stand a better chance.
(:

So ok go here and register an account:
http://www.nisamerica.com/index.html

Then go here and click "wishlist" then vote for the top link which should read "MarlKingdomTrilogy":

https://ssl.nippon1.co.jp/nisa/cgi-bin/enquete/

And if you do know a bit about the series or are a fan, please write a comment. I think a vote pulls more weight when the voter actually writes a little something about why they want to play the games.

I know online petiton's never work, but since this on is pretty much hosted on the developer's website signing it certainly couldn't hurt. I'm pretty exicted to see it myself but 299 votes is pretty low.

Man, I hated Rhapsody with passion. Just an awful game :(

Are the other ones better?

Depends on what you didn't like about it.

If it was the angelic art style, or fact that the characters occasionally broke out into disney-fied singing. Then no.

If you hated the game because it was ridiculously easy, and had pallette swapping up the wazoo. Then yup.

I hated the fact that the dungeons had no design to them. Every room looked exactly the same.

The difficulty (or extreme lack thereof) was also a big factor.

As I said in that case the other games in the series are improved. I suspect ATLUS actually lowered the difficulty level of Rhapsody for it's US release. I don't know why, I beat the game once only using Cornette. I was trying to artifically make it more difficult but I still killed everything in three turns max.

I just love simple looking RPG's on newer consoles. They don't do enough of that. I liked Rhapsody quite a bit. I kinda dug the sickening sweetness of it all!

I'll vote as soon as I get home :)

Any RPG deserves a chance here.

Funny, I have trouble getting to the end of Rhapsody on the Easy setting. (It isn't like I have trouble with either RPGs or tactic games, either.)

I signed in and voted for the games to be brought Stateside.

Personally, I rather liked the soundtrack, especially "Evil Queen" :D

...and don't forget that you can vote for multiple items, and multiple times. The only restriction is that you can't vote for the same thing twice in the same day. On that note, vote for my entry, "Rhapsody Plushes." 8-)

Personally I love the soundtrack, but I'm just saying if you didn't care for the music (which some people didn't) then the sequals aren't going to be any different.

And you can't beat Rhapsody...? o.O
I'm just going to assume you would get hopelessly lost in the last dungeon, if you would like to save face I wouldn't dispute the assumption. :)

Actually, It's a matter of poor timing. That battle with the worm hearts drives me batty. Somehow I can't time it out to whatever the game considers the 6th turn. ^^;

Oooh. Yeah I hate sequances like that. The potion making scene in Paper Mario 2 is enough to make me rip out chunks of hair. :/
