I bet I know why you clicked onto this thread. LOL

Anyway, I've seen some screen shots of this obvious bootleg, but it looks really good.

Has anyone actually played it? The ROM is protected so it can't be downloaded.

Yeh, it used to be available at The Mushroom Kingdom. It's Mario with a bit of Rescue Rangers crate-throwing action tossed in. Not half bad.

Played a Sonic one on Super Nintendo... Don't know if that's weird or not.

It doesn't work for me either. Anyway, it's definitely a hack of some other game.

There's a review (with download) at http://mvt3k.overclocked.org/guest009.htm .

I just played it...it's pretty good for a bootleg. Certainly the gameplay is not up to par for a Mario game, but I've played worse platformers than this one.

That one, I am quite sure, was a hack of a Speedy Gonzales game.

Oh man. This game is playable, but it sure is buggy out the wazoo. I guess that should be expected from a pirate game.

The vertically scrolling levels are a pain especially, because the screen doesn't scroll back down. And I "die" simply by trying to step back down to my last platform.

Also, the way Bowser was glitching at the end of the first world was annoying too. Where he'd "jump" for a split second to the top of the screen and hit you.

Thanks for link to download.

I love the look here. I think the Genny could've handled a really nice Mario game. Bwoser looks fantastic.

This is defintiely Chip & Dale, no question. It drives me nuts that I can't jump on enemies. The hit detection seems to taken out of that one too. The whole feel is there too. Not sure what happens when I started seeing monkeys and bats. That's obviously when this thing goes off the deep end.

Oh, I just found a Donkey Kong Country booleg that looks intresting.

Cool. The style definately looks like it's on the Genesis. That might be weird, but even though both systems are 16-Bit, each sorta has it's own visual kinda style. On alot of games I can tell whether it's SNES or GENESIS.
