After reading how to make a Master System Cart Reader/Writer and a writable Cart, i was curious as to if this is possible for the Megadrive

I was tempted to make one for SMS, but i feel that i would get much more use out of a Megadrive one personally.
Does anyone have any info about it/if its possible/what i need/how to do it?
Anything would be greatly appreciated!

There is a company that makes them, but from memory they are a bit expensive.
The name of the company illudes me, but i have seen it mentioned here before. They also do 2600 pro-typing carts. Ill have a look through my favorites and see if i can dig it up.
A super wild card would do essentially the same thing though and might even be around the same price.

if the port doesn't work then you are doing something wrong, works with every version unless it's broken of course. games never boot? well, are you trying to play >24Mbit games on an SWC 3201 maybe? those won't work of course... anything <=24 should work

And, what's up with your Super Wild Card? Mine loads every game, every time! You have a dodgy floppy drive in it maybe?

Hmm possibly, ive had it boot a game once! and thats it...
Although it reads the disks fine and gets to the screen where it asks if you want to boot in normal or memory mode... Any ideas?
Id love to get this piece of SNES goodness to work as im missing out on so much!

I would definitely use tototek.com. They have Megadrive, Gamegear, SNES, TG-16, and soon, N64 flash carts. Also, they will soon have a Famicom Disk system backup solution.
