Can anyone recommend any good GBA link games? I don't currently have any link titles but wanted to give them a try.

You know, I have never, ever played my GBA linked with the exception of one brief Pokemon battle. But ones that are good that you might want to try:
-Super Mario Kart (with something like "Super Circuit" appended to the name - it's still just SNES mario kart)
-Zelda Four Swords (on LttP cart)
-Advance Wars (more strategy, not as much action)
-Sword of Mana (2p coop)
-Double Dragon (2p coop)
-Just about any "Mario" game (SMAdvance 1-4, Mario & Luigi, etc.) has the original Mario Bros. that you can play 2p. I believe you can play with any two of the cartridges - even with, say, one SMA1 cart and one M&L cart in each GBA.
There are probably a lot of others that I can't think of off the top of my head.
Ones to stay away from:
Contra Advance: Alien Wars - or whatever the port of Contra III was. It is a pretty sucky port; they don't let you have two weapons.
Pokemon and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow both let you exchange collected things with another player, so in a sense they're "linked."

Here's a couple to start out with:
Moto GP would be an excellent choice. The computer AI in the single-player mode is embarrassing, but who could pass up 4-player Hang-On? The racetracks are great - play on the hardest difficulty level for the toughest handling.
Motoracer Advance - Terrific bike racing game, with dirt bikes, speed bikes, racing in traffic, squashing chickens in the road, etc. Perfect for 4 players.

Doom and Doom 2 offer up to 4-player link play.

Mega Man Battle Network serie also supports linking. Never tried it tho.
