I have an idea concerning details.. As far as map selection, how about having the people playing in the match agree on a map? Makes sense to me as far as fun factor and keeping it fair. I know I prefer some maps to others and am sure I'm not alone.

Two words.

Dual SMGs.

banshee killers. SMG/magnum also works very well.

I the head to head matches I play we agree on no rockets, much more competitive that way.

I see some MAJOR problems with the current setup. I've just checked ranks and there are a LOT of -very- unfair matchups. Putting 9's against 1's and such. I'm looking at player ranks and matching them up, will post em an you can act on it if you would be so kind.

I don't think you should match people up because it doesn't hapen like that in real tourneys or when playing on live anyways. Makes it more real IMO.

Doesnt matter to me. If thats what everbody wants then sure.... If not then I say put all the names in a hat and draw LOL

if say 2 nines fight and 2 ones fight, the winner of each, a one and a nine, will have to fight, so you are gonna be fighting a higher rank no matter what if you want to win and are at a low rank

I am starting to rethink my predictions alot.
Seeing as i did not go based on when the last time the person played, others who where not entered, level selection, match ups may be changing too it seems.

I do wish everyone best of luck though.
I don't know how well this will work out but i will not be able to play anytime but after 10:30 or 11pm Eastern this weekend. After that it will probably be 2 weeks before i can get enough time on to really get a match going with someone.

If it could start Friday night and finish Sunday night(or earlier) i would be alot more likely to be able to make my matches in a timely fasion.

That's how tourneys work. It's not as though matchmaking is an effective measure of ability anyway-I ran level 20s when I was level 9, and I've lost to level 6's before. With the default settings, the game is pretty random. And to be honest I haven't heard of a single tournament that ran off of ranks anyway.

When are we supposed to start the first matches ?

Are there set rules ? The following are some I think should be standard :

1.) No radar
2.) 10 kills set as the number at which the match ends.
3.) set up location of match (which map)

the match went back and forth for a bit but after it hit 15 kills each, he/she? sped ahead and never gave it back.
