For some reason I can't put the battery case on. I don't wanna push too hard and crack the plastic, but how exactly is it supposed to go in?

Hmm, hopefully it is just the one system, otherwise the warranty probably won't cover it. Like with the dead pixels.

If there is a defect with the case you should be ok I'd think.

There's an obvious (and quite evil) joke regarding Sony's response to the Square button issue that I could make.

But I'm not going to do it. *holds in the evil*

Is that square button issue still an issue with the US release?

Here's hoping it is. Sony's reputation needs to be taken down a few notches for Nintendo's sake.

Sorry about the comments gettin' out of hand. I'm just bored I guess.

But honestly, if I knew how to help with the battery cover I would. I'm not out to screw consumers. That's Sony's department methinks.

If you don't know how to help with this guy's problem, stay out of the thread. Not every PSP topic needs to be about how much people hate Sony.

It already is. Other than the Entertainment division (which includes the video game stuff), Sony is doing badly.

Argh, I think I may have 3 dead pixels. I hope GameStop has extra consoles, or I may be screwed until the next shipment arrives.

As for the problem at hand, I has that trouble too. You have to I think slide it into place, forget lining up the sticking up thing with the hole, it'll fall into place.

This thread will eiether stay on the battery topic or it will be locked.

If you have nothing useful to offer Stay Out. This is the tech forum, not your personal bitching lounge.

At the risk of pointing out the obvious (I don't have a PSP), have you checked the manual? I've read it's huge and wordy. Perhaps it has a bettery use and care section?

I had a similar problem when I got mine. Don't force it in, but try either sliding it on or snaping it in. I know this may not be helpful but its been a while since I popped on the battery. Its a little tricky, but again don't force it in. Hope this helps.
