I just picked up a loose copy of Fun With Numbers for the 2600. The online rarity guide states:
This title was formerly known as “Basic Math”. Re-released in 1986 where a label variation incorrectly states "for use with paddles". This typo may even be covered by corporate black tape!
What perplexes me here is that the cart I've got is a non-illustrated label; white and red text. If this game were re-released in 1986 then why does it have this old-style labelling? I don't know exactly when Atari stopped issuing text-label carts but I can't imagine any were released as late as `86. So does anyone know if "Fun With Numbers" could have been released under that title prior to, say, 1980? Thanks.
