I think I still have some NFR GBA games around somewhere. I'll have to dig them up. Good eye though.

Where do the NFR games come from? Are they the carts that are in the store displays that the Nintendo reps put in retail stores?

There are 2 ways they come about.
1. Game is sent to a retail store as a demo copy. Game is then taken by a store employee. Nintendo doesn't keep track of them very well.
2. Game is sent to a retail store as a demo copy. Game is sent back to Nintendo as it is supposed to. Nintendo (with most carts) blacks out the "Not For Resale" tag on the front label and takes off the "Return to Nintendo" label from the back of the cart. Game is then sold (I assume) back to a 3rd party retailer like Gamestop where it is sold.
And that's the way it is. =)

How is the value on NFR games? Are they expencive and/or will the price increase?
