I am interested in using an E-Reader for when I get Super Mario Advance 4 mostly. According to the cards I have, you have to put an E-Reader in a different system and then link the two to actually get the bonuses.

My question is can I link a GBA to a GC GBA player with an E-Reader? Can I put the E-Reader right into the GC GBA player? Is the E-Reader compatible with the GBA SP?

Thanks in (GameBoy) Advance! ;)

Yes, yes, yes.

If you use the e-reader with an SP, ignore the passthrough link port on the e-reader. Just use the SP link port like you normally would. Also - this is fairly obvious - if you use the e-reader in the GB Player, you have to link it to a GB using the actual GB Player link port, and not a GB-to-Gamecube link cable.

Pretty much how I did it. Run SMB3 on the GBA Player, have the e-Reader in the proper GBA and link the two that way.
