I heard this debate before but am unclear on the answer. Can someone help me out? I have 3 TVs at home, and my bro is playing FF 11 24/7 (and I'm not even joking, he plays it morning to night, since Halloween AT LEAST now... geez!)

I have a nice 36 inch TV downstairs, and a 27 inch older TV in my parents' room. If I plug my Dreamcast in another TV, it's definitely going in my parents' room.

Look forward to your replies.

This warning was mainly geared toward the earliest game systems, such as the Magnavox Odyssey and original Atari Pong console, which displayed extremely high-constrast B&W graphics that would, by and large, remain in the same place on the screen for extended periods of time; the resulting after-image, frequently referred to as "screen burn" or "burn-in," would be there for the rest of that TV's life. But with colorful, more animated graphics, as well as advances in TV technology, it's much harder to accomplish that now.
