Yup, I am only trading for psp stuff at the moment... im looking mainly for a memory stick, or a PSP game... the UMD goes for 30 easily on ebay

Why are these selling for 30.00?

If you imported it, you don't have the SM UMD, but you can't play that UMD on a import system.

And if you bought the system.....you already have the UMD.

so why?

and the UMD demo is different then the japaniese ones

I didn't say it was, I asked a question....WHY are people paying 30.00 for the disk on eBay when everyone that bought a PSP got one free and importers can't even use it?

I didn't say anything was wrong with him selling it, I didn't flame him, and I wasn't trying to derail the thread. I just asked a question that no one can seem to answer.

Yea GAMES don't. But this is a UMD Movie , which Does have a region lock. :roll:

My only guess would be that the people buying them on eBay are people with a JAP PSP who are not aware of the regional lockout of the UMD movies, in which case they will be highly dissapointed when they get their copy of the movie in the mail.

they sell japanese versions not american versions of this disc on ebay, and they sell them because not all japanese psps came with it.

Well the Metroid demo never came with the Japanese units. And I believe it no longer comes with the US units either.
