any1 know about Pac-Man2 by Entex i just got it from a store for $1.99 how rare is it any info would be nice thx

pac man 2 is a snazzy blue 2 player version of pac man, the "2" means two player and not a sequel. considered to be perhaps the best handheld pac man in terms of gameplay its less common than the tomy and coleco versions, although those two are more sought after for design / nostalgia reasons. with both battery covers and no body damage its worth $25, with a minty box its nearly double.

entex was a great american company straight outta Compton CA, best known for the adventurevision console. entex products tend to have higher quality hardware and more polished gameplay than the flood of handheld games seen in the early 80s, they're my personal favorite. other titles in the same case style line include Galaxian2, Turtles and Arcade Defender.

One Of My Favorite Handheld Games That I play often..


Cool thing about this game is one player can chase the other player around(2 Player game)one player being a Ghost and the other being Pac Man..

I got this one out of a "Flea Market" for $5.00 years ago....

What ever happened to entex? I like Entex Select A Game, too bad it was short lived.

He's not talking about the Select-a-Game cart, he's talking about the dedicated handheld unit. R10 on the Select-a-Game. No rarity listed but something like R3/R4 for the handheld.

Still a great find :)

Yeah! Joe's right, I was just talking about my Select A game Machine, it has Pac man 2 for it and it is the same as the dedicated, Entex made some sweet stuff, those of you who don't have a Select a game need one they're great.
