Reading the thread about the Pac Man 2 game got me thinking about the Nelsonic Pac Man watch that's been sitting on my desk forever. Anybody remember this? I can't find anywhere that sells the battery that it needs. Anybody know?

What is something like that worth?

This one's auctioning off for a pretty penny:

I really wanted one of those when they first came out.

You could probably just take it into Radio Shack and ask for a battery for it.

Unfortunately, that's not the one I have. Mine has four face buttons, that one has a cool little joystick.

Checking ebay, it looks like a working one goes for $80-$90. I'll have to try Radio Shack, and if it works, see if anyone here is interested.

I used to have one of those - lost it on a trip, if I recall correctly. Kinda sad, because I played the hell outta that puppy. I still remember the little songs it'd play during the game too!

$202?! Dude! I HAVE one like that! From back in the day, too!

Okay, let's turn this into a vintage Game Watch (versus Game and Watch) thread!

There was:
Nelsonic Pac-Man Button and Joystick
Frogger
Q*Bert
the GCE watches (Sports Time, Arcade Time.. and Puzzle Time?)
The first Game watch with the UFO moving in a half-circle across the top of the watch face

Did Nelsonic do anything else? Were there any other Game Watches (IE had a wristband and was on a small square)

I had one where there was a little monkey in a tree throwing coconuts and you were a little guy with a basket and you had to catch them. I cant remember what it was called........

It was from Bandai and was called "Monkey Business". It was sold in both watch form (which I had as well) and a handheld version (which I didn't have). :) http://www.handheldmuseum.com/Bandai/MonkeyBusiness.htm

Not only that, I also had the Nelsonic Pacman watch.

Both are broken beyond repair (there is but one band dangling from the Monkey Business watch and the Pacman has none) LOL But you know what.. the fact that I played the shit outta them means I really enjoyed them A LOT as a kid :P

I remember that my Pac-Man watch was such a novelty in my 5th Grade class, that I got one guy to pay me a quarter per play @_@ LOL
