Well, just as the title states. I'm interested in purchasing computer books that people are no longer using. My main reason for posting this is in search of some apache, sql, and php books. I would also be interested in any linux/unix, html, etc etc. I'm interested in anything if the price is right and can't afford too much at the moment so don't tell me you have an apache book for $20, i probably won't bite. But, feel free to try me in all situations. You can respond here or pm. I tend to keep better track of pm's though as I can miss posts. Thanks for looking and let the pm's roll in :D

Hmm.
I am looking at tossing some 15 year old books if you are looking for anything that old. MAC books. Old Networking books. Even 286 assembler books :)
If you are looking for anything this old let me know. I also have the original C bible from the waite publishing group.

I have:
C for Dummies vol 1

Using Visual Basic 5
I can get the year or version #s for you if you need. I really need to get rid of this books too.

If you were local, I'd probably take you up but those would only be worth shipping to the right person. So, I'm not directly looking for anything that old...sorry I couldn't help you recycle them. LOL
Richter, his location says UK and most times that doesn't mean University of Kentucky...but I've been wrong before. I didn't think the UK and "us" had any bookrate deals...
Kaine, you've got another pm.

Hmm
Don't forget the Bound Printed Matter rate for shipping. It is more expensive than media mail until you get up into the 5lb plus range.
I do have some books in the 10 year range like Animation Magic with Visual Basic 5 and a SQL7 server admin book. Or an office 97 book. :)
How about DOS secrets revealed, a guide to DOS 6 ..

Dos wouldn't be too bad, but I've got enough office books to sink a ship. My school had a "free" table from the learning center...I got a Mosaic for dummies book...haha. Let me know what all you've got and we'll see what I can run off with! :D

Sure, I can probably sum it up from memory!
OS X book...pretty thin, visual teaching book or soemthing
Apple IIe monitor stand in original box
Tandy 1000SL computer - monitor, keyboard, mouse, joystick, system...all there, all functions. Little tits and tats missing(keypad enter key for instance) mostly complete though with software and all sorts of paperwork, etc etc garbage
Lasonic DVD player - kind of an old unit but served me great, played vcd's and svcds well, as well as dvdr's. I bought a Divx player..so this goes.
A giant toolbox of cheapo tools that I've managed to collect over the years LOL
I'm sure there are other odds and ends, I'll take a peak at it all tomorrow!
