I just bought this off ebay:

Not too bad, I didn't have a copy of Judge Dredd anyhow. Now I realize these are not really prototypes, but this forum fits as close as any. I've got some questions about them.

Does anyone else have similar carts? Are they identical to retail releases save for the label? Aside from being a conversation piece, do they have any value (other than the $10 it cost me)?

Erm, the guy also sold a Toy Story one, but it seemed more interesting anyhow, like a review copy. The label even states that it's the property of disney and should be returned to them.

Yeah Jibba found a Toy Story one, I believe The Red Eye has a Judge Dredd. Both found at a Gamestop/Funco/EB Games/Whatever it is the kids call them these days.

Yeah, I found a Dredd at EB, ended up selling it for $30.

It's strangely funny, at least to me, that the two that people have found were also for sale by this seller. Makes me think they may be more common than other titles. But otherwise, was there anything interesting about them?

I've got one too. You play a different level than the released version and it has a time limit and a shorter introduction.
