Sega made a big deal of this last year at E3, and it's finally out. There doesn't seem to be any coverage on Gamespot or IGN. I'm not into PC gaming but I thought a MMORPG with a lot of fighting might be interesting, if only interesting in a bad way (actually my favorite kind of interesting :) )

So has anyone tried it? What is it like?

I beta tested it. Unless they came a LONG way since 4 months ago, I will say stay far, FAR away from this POS.

MMORPGs have yet to interest me in genreal. (Message boards already make such an effective timesink.)

Any and all MMOGs are pretty much a waste of time, IMO. Their gameplay is generally only a pretty simplistic turn-based sort of combat with sometimes a little bit of "crafting" thrown in (the ingredients for this are usually obtained from hours of monotonous combat).

The only fun comes in hanging out with other people online, and message boards, IM, IRC, and / or multiplayer coop games are all better uses of your time and money.

This should have been released at the same time as the movies- they have to start production on games concurrent to movies/sequels. That way it turns into a media GAUNTLET. Now, unless the game play is stellar, it could fizzle.
