I've always debated buying either a Turbo Express or the preferred PC Engine GT. I'm told the screen is 2.6 inches or so, most of my PC Engine games are shooters...how well would shooters show up on the handheld? Is the backlight comparable to the GBA SP's?

I'm told by the seller that this particular GT allows both US TurboChip and Japanese HuCards to be played w/o an adapter...how can this be?

My last question is simply can Turboexpress accessories be used on a PC Engine GT? i.e. battery pack, TV Tuner

I've searched some PC Engine sites and can't find the answers to these questions...so I bring 'em here. Anyone help me out?

For a bit about the Turbo Express and PC Engines in general. According to that article, it's a 2.6" active matrix.

I don't own one, but I was palying one one recently in a shop in Japan. Even to my modern eyes it was a pretty impressive piece of equipment, even though the screen was fairly small. I don't know how relevant it is to what you can find on the net, but if I remember correctly that unit was about $300-350, but (I think) it came with the TV tuner as well, if that's important.

I would think the GT is the way to go as the library is much larger, and for shmups you don't need to know Japanese anyway.

Hope that helps a little!
