Why is it, that whenever a good Tom Clancy game for the XBOX gets ported to the ps2, it always turns out horrible? (Splinter Cell wasn't that bad)
Ghost Recon
Ghost Recon 2
Rainbow Six 3
WHY?!?!?!

They get lazy when they are porting it?
PS2 can't handle the game correctly or something?
The developers ran out of magic powder?

Tom Clancy is racist and hates all Japanese people and their consoles.

Most of the Tom Clancy games have been originally developed for the Xbox, and for the most part they've really been utilizing the power of the system, so it's not too surprising that the PS2 can't keep up, given the differences in system specs.

That is correct. I have seen something similiar in an article discussing the differences in the way Splinter Cell: Choas Theory was rated differently on each system...Sometimes by 2 or more points with the highest rating consistently going to the Xbox version.
