I thought it would be interesting to see if some of you have to Cram some game saves onto Those memory cards. If you only have One memory card for a certain system that you like, Like i do for GameCube, You'll find it difficult to squeeze the memory in. I've been meaning to get a 256 Block memory card Ever since i got my gamecube, But i just haven't found the time to buy one.

Let's hear your story.

nope...i havent filled one yet (except for the memory card that comes with animal crossing, but that doesnt count)

and with the xbox's huge harddrive i cant see myself filling that
and with psp's ability to load files to / from the pc i cant see filling that

so, i shouldnt have a problem

Nope. I don't think I've ever had a memory card more than half full. Of course, I don't really play sports games and try not to be playing a million games at a time.

You're using a 51? Oh, I pity you. IF you have more than 10 GC games. I have about 40, and my 2 256s are about full. I might have to get another one...
I've only filled 1 card on PS2, I have three more.
My single N64 memory card is ABOUT full. Might buy another one if I buy more games for it.
And my Xbox... No problem there.

I have got two 251's and two 51's for thew gc, all are packed full. i don't play any sports games, but i am a save game hoarder. I never delete anything *just in case*

The saturn memory cards were real hard to fill, but i have got RPG maker and Dezaemon 2 so that is one 8,000 block card for only two games.

I don't play a lot of RPG's so I hardly ever save anything. I was surprised one time when I looked at my PS2 card and saw a million saves on it. I didn't realize games just automatically save all the time now. I went and deleted them all and now I leave it in port 2 or unplugged most of the time unless I'm intentionally saving something.

For my Dreamcast, I have four VMUs and two 4x memory cards. Out of that, I have about 400 blocks free, so I'm probably good for a while, but still. Those DC memory cards are the smallest.

My Sega CD is also pretty full up, so I have to be selective about which games I want to play, and when I want to play them. Same thing with my Saturn, but I have an Action Replay 4M+ for that, so I just have to shuffle things back and forth a fair amount.

Now my Neo Geo on the other hand, I doubt I'll ever fill up that memory card. Of course it's fairly useless, but it can be handy if you want to do stage select in Metal Slug X, for instance.

i have never filled up a stock memory card with game saves, i never play that many games at one time, my max is about 3 games. though, i have filled a xbox memory card for modding purposes.

Lesse, I have...

Two full Gamecube 59s.
One DC 4x card with each slot about half full.
One PS2 card with more than a megabyte free, even with saves for all three GTAs.
One full and one empty PSX card.
A Sega CD with only a Sonic CD save on it.
A Saturn with no saves that I never play at all because I have no games for it. :(

I can't even begin to tell you how many PSOne cards I filled before I bought a 360 block card... that eventually erased itself when I tried to use it in my PS2.

Lost all my final fantasy saves (EVERY FF game for PSOne had a completed save), Metal Gear, Castlevania (196%! :( ), Chrono Cross, Xenogears, man, that sucked so bad.

I have 2 251s and 6 59s, and I'm running out of space.

Also, on the PS2, I only have 1 card which I keep deleting saves off of, because I don't want to spend $20 on another card.

Ya I have a habit of keeping a save file for every game I play, RPG or not. I think I cut back some, I have 3-4 PS2 cards, and 3 gamecube cards now.

Cube wise I'm currently running 1019 for my US saves, a separate 1019 for any EA sports games, a 251 for my Japanese saves and a separate 251 for WE6FE.

I also have three separate 59 cards: one for temp US saves, one for temp Japanese saves and one for anything I use Freeloader for (eg. PAL Donkey Konga).

My friend has one Gamecube memory and it's very frustration. He has to keep overwriting saves for the newest Resident Evil, so we can't go back and do parts of the game we'd like to play over.

Hrm, lesse...

I have one 59 I use for Animal Crossing, a 59 I use exclusively for F-Zero GX, a 59 exclusive for Pokemon Colluseum. I've got a MadCatz 59 I use for import and rental games. Then I've got two 251s, one I use for the games I play most often, and another one for games I've beaten or just don't play all that much. Finally, I have a third party 251 I use to hold racing ghosts from 1080 and Mario Kart.

I have 2 psx mem cards filled, and one PS2 memory card filled.

Most games I play dont require that much space, but Gran Turisimo 4 took me over te edge.

My arsenal:

2 Dreamcast VMUs : Almost completly full
5 Nintendo 64 Mem : All full of game saves over the years
2 PS2 Mem Cards : Full to the brim
XBox HDD : not even close
1 251 GC mem card : About a good half
7 PSX : All full (boatload of RPG saves)

I'm a game save hoarder, what can I say?

I usually hold onto my saves too, especially if they're something I plan to use later. If they're really important, I make back up saves (and during the course of a game I usually save at least 2 or 3 files in case I screw something up and want to go back a little). Let's see...

1 PS2 card - Not much on it, but the Star Ocean 3 Battle Collection takes up a lot of space, right?

7 PSX cards (and a good 3 or 4 3rd party cards) - PlayStation memory is the biggest issue for me and my boyfriend, but now that I bought some game lots with memory cards included, we have plenty of space for data. :)

3 N64 cards - One has my Japanese files, another has my US files, and the third is at my mom's house. None of them are close to being full, though (especially since just recently one decided to erase all but one of my files. :( I still don't know what the fuck was up with that.)

1 GameCube 251 card - Not sure, but I don't think it's really close to being full.

2 Dreamcast VMUs - One is my boyfriend's and I've never even touched its data. The one that's mine barely has anything on it (since I haven't played much Dreamcast).

I don't even know what the hell is going on with my internal Sega CD memory in my Sega CD 2 or my CDX. o_O I don't really have anything to save just yet. The only game I got here is Sewer Shark, while all my others at my mom's.

nope, I have the same two cards I bought for my PS2 about 2 years ago and I've only used one card just a little over halfway. Tons of games on it. The xbox might be getting pretty bad though, I think I almost filled the HDD with a bunch of roms.

I have one PS2 card, & I thought I'd never have to buy another as it handled all my saving needs...for awhile. Late last year, I began deleting saves as I beat a game, so if I ever wanted to play it again, I'd have to start all over.

At the most recent Toys R Us sale I got a 8/16MB card for a buck & change. It came w/ software to preload before using the card or else the PS2 wont recognize it, & it must be in Port 1. It can "crush" files saved to it, thereby freeing up tons of space on the PS2 card- I figure I could save 2 of each game (of all my games) on that 16MB sucker.

W/ games like Fatal Frame, Drakan, Dog's Life & Everblue 2, all of which use at least 1 MB (1/8 PS2 card), this thing is a godsend. I know about 3rd party cards sometimes screwing up, but it hasnt happened yet.

I only have 1 PSX memory card, and when I fill it, I move saves not needed onto my PS2 memory card (which at this time has ~2,400 KB on it - It was at 956K, until I deleted my old RPG Maker 2 file...).

For Gamecube, I have 1 59 for Animal Crossing, 1 59 for Stuff I'm not currently playing, and 1 251 for games I'm currently playing.

For my Saturn, I use the Tamogatchi Park Save Cart which has tons of memory.

I only have two 51 cards for my Gamecube that are full and I keep having to delete important files (Zelda!)I should probably invest some money into a device that can save the files on a computer.

I have files crammed onto my GCN memory cards my and VMU right now. I used to have my PSone memcards filled up too but those got deleted awhile ago and really recive little to no use anymore.

Does Sony make a PS1 card that's bigger than the standard card? I have 2 standard cards, which tend to get filled up from time to time. I used to have that problem with my Dreamcast, until I bought a couple of those multiple page cards. But I don't trust any 3rd party cards. If it's not an official card, chances are you'll lose all your data at some point. So I only buy official cards, even if they cost more. The frustration they save you is worth it in the end.

I have one 16mb PS2 memory card which is full to the brim, have to keep on reluctantly deleting stuff to save the new games on. Rah
I think all 3 of my DC memory cards are full
The PS2 one causes the most problems, I really need to get a new one, but i'm sure they are too expensive.

Three PS1's filled. Two PS2's bursting. I save often and rarely delete anything unless I have to. When I do delete something, I always end up slapping myself on the forehead six months later when I pop the disc in and discover I have to unlock everything again. =P

I'm constantly having to cram memory into my Gamecube, I may just go out and buy a 251 soon.
