I was lookingover old posts and other lists and I have yet to find a list of what makes NES games "complete". The typical games come with an instruction manual, but how do you know what else comes with it?

Posters, maps, etc. - these are some of the things that I am talking about.

If anyone knows of such a list, it would be very helpful. If there isn't a list, does anyone have any idea on how I could find out that information?

Also, I have seen various agruments about exactly which Color Dreams/Bunch Games/Wisdom Tree NES games were released in Blue carts only, or Black carts only, or both. Does anyone have any definitive info on that topic?

Thanks for your help!

Check out the 2BComplete list. That'll do it :)

And, well, definitive evidence of CD variants? This could take all day :)

Basically, blue and black definitely exist for Menace Beach, Secret Scout, Silent Assault, Castle of Deceit, Galactic Crusader, Captian Comic, Crystal Mines, Bible Adventures, Master Chu, Pesterminator, Pradikus Conflict, King Neptune's Adventure, Moon Ranger, and Challenge of the Dragon. King of Kings has a well known label variant with the camel and Baby Jesus.

Of the remaining games, Baby Boomer and Operation Secret Storm don't have variants. Well, they shouldn't, unless someone's memory is worse than I thought.

Of the remaining, all Wisdom Tree games minus Bible Adventures, Raid 2020, Tagin Dragon, Metal Fighter, Robodemons, and Mission Cobra MAY have variants. I'm searching contstantly, and taking notes :)

Seems like I recall a website that also puts out a publication with lots of helpful information on lots of different games and systems. If you don't mind dropping a little coin that is. The name of the site fails me right now though.....Digital.....digit....something like that. It'll come to me, I'm sure of it.

Thanks Portnoyd for the helpful info! (though the link you included isn't working)

And thanks Savedman for not being overly sarcastic. I didn't get the impression from the Digitpress website's listings of games (and rarities) that they included what came with what game.

Unfortunately, the website lists don't include the rarity/game lists for NES (because it is obviously in the version for sale :-D ), I don't think that the one for sale has the information that I was inquiring about.

If I am wrong, I would think that they would reference that somewhere on their site.

Again, thanks for the suggestion though.

i think it was sothy that mentioned that some nes game came with some sort of ice cream(space or astronaut ice cream i think it was)... was that serious or just a joke?

At first I thought that it was yet another sarcastic reply, but it may have some truth to it as "Astronaut Ice Cream" is actually a powdered substance in a foil packet. It may be true or I just might be THAT gullible.

The purpose for my post was only to find out what legitimate pack-ins come with what games. I could care less about the obvious - styrofoam, black plastic sleeves, postacards, etc. I only really cared about the posters, maps, and other items specific to the game.

If anyone has info relevant to that, rather than restating things that are obvious, I appreciate it.

If there isn't one out there, I have no problem compiling the data, but I don't have the info - hence my posting requesting that information. :D

orri:

Keep checking that link. JeffD's site has bandwidth cap, but the link does work, and the 2Bcomplete is all you need.

The next print DP will have more info regarding these sort of things.

I was serious about the astronaut ice cream.
