GAMING MAGAZINES AVAILABLE FOR TRADE OR PURCHASE

If buying magazines, rather than trading, minimum order of $10 worth. Prices do not include shipping. Shipping will only be the actual "real" cost of shipping the mags, no extra fee's. Media Mail shipping would most likely be cheapest method, although sometimes BPM (Bound Printed Matter) is cheaper if you are shipping a greater quantity of mags. I prefer to trade magazines for issues that I need of various magazines, but I put prices on everything in case anybody just wants to buy a few issues. Magazines that I'm looking to trade for are: Video Games & Computer Entertainment, Game Players, Die Hard GameFan, EGM, Play magazine, Gamer's Republic, GamePro, GamesTM, EDGE and EGM 2.

I'll take the whole Sega Visions lot, and the one issue of Fun Club News.

EDIT: I'll buy them, that is. I have to organize all of my magazines before I have a trade list, but I'll make sure and let you know when that is!

I'll take the following GamePro's:

1. OCTOBER 1991 - Star Wars on the cover - $4.00
2. JUNE 1992 - Taz-Mania on the cover - $5.00
4. OCTOBER 1992 - Street Fighter II on the cover - $5.00

Who published the Street Fighter 2 Turbo Strat Guide? Was this the GamePro guide from around 94? Or the (unlikely) one released by Nintendo Power? I'm interested in this if it's either of them.

Ok, I'm going to reply to everybody that has posted a response.

1. cauterize - I'm sure that it would be less than $1.70 to ship that mag via Media Mail, but I did say that if I'm not doing a trade, then I would only sell mags if the order is $10 or more. It's just not worth it to go through all the trouble of packing it up and shipping, etc, etc, unless the order is for $10 or more. If it is a trade, and I"m getting a mag I need, then it's worth it to do it for just a couple of mags or whatever. So, you would need to buy another $8 worth of mags. If you don't want to do that, then let me know, because TheRedEye is interested in the whole Sega Visions lot, and that is one of the mags in the Sega Visions lot.

2. TheRed Eye - If cauterize doesn't wish to buy another $8 worth of mags, then you have the Sega Visions lot. And I can put the one issue of the Fun Club News on hold for you too.

3. mattmcgrath - The three issues of GamePro and the SF II strategy guide are all on hold for you right now.

4. Chainsaw_Charlie - Evermore guide is on hold for you, but like I explained to cauterize above, non trades need a minimum order of $10. Evermore guide is $5, so you would need to buy something else to get it to $10. Again, I appologize for the $10 requirement, but it's just not worth the trouble to package the item carefully, and find out the exact shipping cost, and do all of that for an order less than $10. If we were doing a trade, it would be no problem, because I really prefer to trade for mags that I need. But I decided that if I was going to sell any of these, then I would require a order of $10 or more. Sorry bout that.

5. Tholly - Unfortunately, I'm not a collector of Nintendo Powers, so I'm not interested in any of those issues. I'm primarily interested in any Die Hard Game Fan's that I don't have (I need about 19 more issues), and any Video Games & Computer Entertainment issues that I don't have. (need alot cause I only have about 15 issues) I'm also looking for EGM, but I only need some of the very earliest issues, and I"m also looking for Game Players issues that I don't have.

By the way, I really would much rather trade for mags that I need, but usually it's difficult to do such trades, because I only need certain issues of specific mags, and it makes it hard to trade. But I would prefer to trade mags, and the only reason I did the $10 thing, is because I didn't want to sell a singe mag to like 20 different people and have to go through the process of packing each one up and finding out the shipping, etc. I wouldn't mind trading 1 mag to 20 different people, because I would be getting some mags that I've been searching for, and it would be well worth all the trouble.

Thanks.

One guy has the Special Sample issue on hold, but if he doesn't get back to me soon, then that one will be available again. Another guy wants MegaFan - Volume 1 - Issue 2, and I put that on hold for him, and he wants to work out a trade. He's currently in the process of seeing if he has any extra Die Hard Game Fans of the ones that I need. If he doesn't have any of the issues I need, and he doesn't want to add anything to his order, then that one would go back up for grabs too.

If both of those potential deals fall apart, then that package can be yours. Currently, nobody has the Secret of Evermore guide on hold, or the Premier Collector's Edition of MegaFan. So I could put those on hold for you if you like.

I must say that I'm shocked that I haven't sold any regular issues of GameFan. It's the greatest video game magazine of all time.

Either everybody already has those issues, or they just don't have a clue how good GameFan is. Or they feel that my price is too high. 2 for $10 isn't too bad, especially for GameFans, you would have to pay the same or more on Ebay.

Oh well, I guess I might just have to throw them up on Ebay.

Also remember if you have any VG & CE's or early EGM's or real early GamePro's or Game Players, I'm also very open to trades, and I actually prefer to trade mags. I'm also looking for a number of issues of Play magazine as well.
