I'm sure a lot of people have seen this on cheapassgamer.com (credit goes to outkastx), but it's only available for $10 if you purchase it brick & mortar (actually walking into an EB store and buying it, for the abbreviation-impaired). I got it last night for that price, and I hear that the special is still going on. Also, it's worth $22 store credit at FYE, if that info strikes anyone's fancy...

Not a bad deal if you're into shuffling around trade-in credits, but as a game, bleah! Multiplayer was hampered enough by the necessity of individual GBA's, but having someone be the bitch carrying around the chalice was an incredibly awful idea.

I picked up FF Crystal Chronicles for $10.99 yesterday. An employee at EB whom I know for some time pointed it out to me.
BTW, XIII (PS2) can be had for $3.99 (new) at EBGames as well. That's a real bargain.

Yeah, my buddy tipped me off to the deal last night. Couldn't pass it up, not for 10 bucks. And just out of curiousity, does anyone know how much the trade-in credit is at GameRush, or GameStop, or EBGames even? Hope i'm not being considered a ThreadJacker.

I am having extreme deja vu with this thread. Not that you are announcing the price, but the immediate response following it. I could swear it is verbatim with when we had the Crystal Chronicles thread, where ewveryone bashed the game...

Sad, I actually spent $50 on this new way back only for my brother to play it. I have never touched the thing. Actually, I wish I could get my money back.

Darn FYE......we'll give you 22 bucks for the game, if we took it in. We have too many, so we refuse to trade anymore in. Bah. Oh well, picked up my 10 dollar copy tonight.
Got my copy after work today for $9.99, along with XIII for the PS2 for $2.99. When I took it up to the counter, the guy working there said "Hey, we've got a used copy for $10 more if you want it." LOL

Sorry for the misinformation. FFCC is indeed $9.99, and XIII is $2.99.

Damn. If it were the Xbox version too, I'd totally buy that. I've been waiting for that price to drop enough for ages. Red Dead Revolver just recently came down to $20. I'd love a XIII for $3.
Actually, I haven't been to a game store in about 5 months. I really gotta go back and see what I'm missing.

Holly crap 14$ (with tax) for 2 good games - notice i said good not great.
The guy at eb sure looked at me funny when he said - "13 dollars"
