The problem with AC adapters is that they cost so much to freaking ship. It's different with power cables, but actual AC Adapters, man those things weigh alot. I was actually in the same situation looking for a SNES power adapter, and ultimately it's cheaper to find a SNES system that has a power adapter at a flea market or something.
