If anyone owns a GBA Timemachine, let me know what you think about it. I'm referring to this eBay auction.

A friend of mine(who is a member here) has one of these,...I'm not sure if it's this version but he likes it.
At first "as I remember" it didn't work...the unit he has requires a GBA cart to be in the unit-sp at the same time when you are going to play NES-FAM games..
Take note of that..incase you can't get it or other versions to work..
Maybe he'll see the thread and give it a better explanation.
hey...I am the above mentioned member :)
I got my girl a timemachine and she loves it. Yes, you need to have a gba cart plugged in the system to get a famicom game to work. I haven't been able to get the pass-through to work, but IMO, if you are playing gba games, you don't really need the timemachine on anyways, unless you just want the headphone jack and don't have the regular gba one.
IMO, this thing should be used for FAMICOM games only, as once you have put the adapter and NES cart on there, it's sticks WAY out and feels very flimsy. I would also worry about the weight with gravity pulling down on the adapter etc.
The picture isn't as good as the regular nes on a tv and the sound isn't top notch....but imo, it's not crap. It's easily enjoyable and my girl didn't even notice. I am just picky, but I can still play it without thinking about that stuff. It's a pretty cool little thing for $50 on ebay....
It's been said that it eats batteries and does take 4 AA's but her's hasn't run out yet and she plays it all the time.
In the end, I am glad I picked it up.

Hmm, why not just buy one of those Pocket Famicoms recently released?
