ORPHANS

You know 'em. They're those loose boxes, instruction manuals and even carts that need the rest of the "set".

I'm about to compile a big list of "orphans" that I've gathered over the years. These are mostly empty boxes and loose manuals but also some loose carts.

Would anyone be interested in a coordinated effort to complete these orphans? It would be a trading system, essentially. We'd each list our loose items and trade amongst ourselves to try to complete sets. I'm getting tired of looking at all this stuff and want to either find the missing parts or find a good home for what I have.

that sounds like a good idea. i don't have any orphan boxes or manuals though, just orphan carts.

I'll make a list before I come to NY, but I can't bring all my boxes with me. So anyone that would be interested in mine would have to wait until May. Unless I can convince my dad to start doing trades for me. :/

I would certainly be interested in trading for boxes since most of my carts are loose. I have no interest in manuals, so I have 20 or so of those to trade.

I have a nice little collection of empty boxes (I so desperately want to fill or trade), so I'm up for it. I also have plenty of manuals.

I'm up for it, I probably have a few hundred loose boxes for a few systems. Mainly SNES, Genny, Sega CD, and N64.

It would be nice to be able to complete a lot of these loose games I have around.

I'll have my list ready sometime today. I'd suggest you each start preparing yours, then we can work out trades for the odds 'n ends to make complete sets.

Huzzah for conscientious collectors! We will someday UNDO the wrongs of FuncoLand and make our games whole again.
