if anyone out there has a complete MIB collection of Intelli games and a mib console+voice they are tired of.. I'm willing to pay well for the ability to just get it all in one go.

This is the one system I would like to have a an eye poppingly nice collection of. It was the system I had in my youth, while all my friends had 2600's.

Well, I have what I consider to be a very very nice Intellivision collection all boxed and
in the best condition I could get ( would be considered near mint by most ), anyway it is complete including boxed computer (not the first one ) boxed system changer, boxed intellivoice and all games ( including sealed Tutankham, Super Cobra, Demo cart).

What it does not have is the box and instructions for Congo Bongo also missing box
for the game system and last the keyboard box is rough and missing the packing inserts
and instructions.

I can get it all together and post some pictures if this would be of interest to you.

Wow I had no idea how much of this stuff I have anyway here
is a link to a photo of what I have gone through so far.

Also the reason I have decided to part with this collection is
I have all the games loose and have been concentrating more
on my 2600 collection and could use the room.

I changed the photo to somthing much smaller

Drew,

I usually don't have the patience to wait for pictures to load up, but I did this time. You have a great collection. I wish I had all of those boxed games.

I'm interested in a few of those games if they are not already spoken for and you're still looking to unload them.

I am posting this message because I had sellers remorse after going
through all my Intellivision games and have decided to keep my collection.

Anyway I wanted to bump this post back to the top in case there is
someone else willing to sell there collection Please let Raedon know

I feel pretty bad for starting this, but after looking at this collection along
with my wife's warning that I will want them back as soon as I sell them
( she must have seen the look in my eyes ) I had to agree.

seems I can't get a break on getting an Intelly collection started.. this is the second dead INTV trade. :)

Perhaps you should try just finding/trading for a few at a time instead of going for the huge lot. It's more fun that way, anyhow ; )

Naa.. I'd rather have it in one go.. It will have to be purchased online as INTV stuff i've found locally wasn't boxed or nice or anything and this needs to be nice.. and I just can't do ebay lots..

Man I'd love to buy a complete collection again.

I bought a complete 7800 collection on ebay awhile back.
$700something I think it was. What a steal !!

It had every game NIB including the homebrews like the monitor cart etc.

I'd love to find a complete or near complete INTV or Colecovision collection one day. I don't have many carts of either system what a time and hassle saver that would be.

The fun in collecting for me is the hunting down and filling of the gaps. I guess if I were to have my Intellivision plugged into a TV on a regular basis buying the whole collection at once would be fine - certainly convenient - but that's just not the case.

I have a complete collection that I wouldn't sell for the world, mainly for the reason above - because I hunted each and every piece down (that I didn't own back in the day) personally.

Good luck! It's a great system.

There is no hunt anymore when it comes to nice boxed INTV within a two hour drive from my place. The few INTV games I have found were all very common, very used and many without a box. My "hunt" is now an online one.. what is fun about that..

These older systems.. You can't complete them with the hunt.. it isn't possible without maybe going to CGE with $4000.. But that isn't a hunt..

Yeah I definitely see your point.

The difference between us is that I DO consider online hunting "hunting". And I still find it fun. I'm weird, but that should be no big secret.

I know what you mean..

I've been noticing the same thing happening to NES here in Toronto! Because of all the new systems, the older ones push the next older ones off the shelves!

Heck, many places around me don't rent N64 or PS/1 anymore.. they just sell.. and anything older than that is almost completly gone!

Over the last 2+ years that I've been collecting NES, I've found close to a dozen stores, and personally saw at least 4 close down! While the rest mostly stopped..

I've turned to the internet to complete my NES collection (Still about 200 games to go!)
