View Full Version : My eBay feedback - Something just doesn't add up...

I was just viewing my feedback on eBay, when I noticed a bit of a glitch...

The total number of feedbacks I have is: 127

I have a 100% rating (Perfect - Meaning no neutrals or negatives)

My feedback score is 83 (Currently) but...

Underneath, it says:

Members who left a positive: 84
Members who left a negative: 0

I don't understand - If I have zero Neutrals and zero negatives, then surely my score should also be 84, and not 83 like it states...

It's really quite weird! :/

Multiple feedbacks from the same seller only count as one positive towards your score. I'm sure that's whats going on.

Yes but his overall feedback score is 83, but the number of unique eBay members who have left him positive feedback is 84. One's gone missing!

Even if you get a neutral it doesnt affect the 100% (if you have 100%)

It takes awhile to update. I've got one account that's been that way for months, maybe going on a year now.. O_O

Feedback Score: 220
Positive Feedback: 99.6%
Members who left a positive: 223
Members who left a negative: 1
All positive feedback received: 316

One of my accounts is off by 2 right now.

Don't you think that it is total crap that multipule feedback from the same person doesn't count? Each transaction is different, each can go good or bad. I think that every feedback should count. What if you get a bunch of games from the same person. Even with a few months in between they still only count once. What if you had a good dealing once, but the next time a month later the seller or buyer is a total Asshat? That just plain sucks!

Yes, but think of the abuses that could (would) arise from having every transaction count for your feedback score. Two friends (or one guy with multiple accounts) could pad their feedback like a crazy mofo.

As for the errors mentioned above, I've noticed a problem with my feedback too. All of the feedback I've left for others this month has not appeared in my "feedback left for others" section. The last listed one is March 30. I'm just assuming that it will iron itself out eventually.
