mario and luigi super star help needed

Ok I get to the bridge where they are working on it and they tell me to come back later after talking to the people of the town. So I go and talk to EVERYONE and come back and its the same thing they just tell me to come back.


I then resort to gamefaqs and they say all you have to do is talk to the hammer makin bros and then go out and the bridge will be done. I did that and it still wasnt done.

What is the deal here?

You're talking about the Hoo-Hoo village, the one in the mountains, on your decent downward? (or whatever the village is called. been a while since i played.)

Been a while since ive beaten this game so i dont remember much. Great game btw. If i dont remember wrong this is pretty early in the game? If you have tried "everything" and followed a guide and your still stuck, i would recommend you to start over again and follow the guide up to that point with the bridge.

well I didnt break out the guide unitill then . I even read back in the guide to make sure I did every thing and I did.

Have you seen Fawful drop a rock in your way?

If not, got down some rock stairs before you reach the bridge and head left. They're kinda hard to spot at first

yes the motor mouth guy dropped the statue looking thing a while ago . I take it I have to break it with a hammer that I cant make untill the bridge is done. :hmm:

If I remember correctly, you have to go up the mountain cliff, fight someone at the top, get a ride for the Pteradactl looking guy and go from there. If I remember correctly. It's been a long time.

That happens after the bridge is fixed you go up and fight and it ends up being the prince. The only thing is ..........THE BRIDGE WILL NOT FIX!

Anyway, backtrack through the previous cave, and return to the Save Album.

From here, take the lower path to the west, and into the next area. Talk to the people outside and in the small building, then keep going westward. In the following section, you will encounter Fawful once again, picking on a village guard. He will taunt you as always, then drop a giant rock in your path, disallowing you to continue. For now, return to the area where the bridge to the summit is broken. Enter the house there, where you will meet the Hammerhead Bros in person. They will try to make a Hammer out of a stone they found, but to no avail. Since you both showed up, they agree to make you a Hammer, but they need Hoohoo Blocks from the summit first. When the cue shows up, have Mario jump to agree to this mission. Afterward, have Luigi jump as well, then you'll be on your way. Leave the house to find the bridge has been completed, so go westward.

I remember getting stuck there too. Did you not have to talk to everyone in line fixing the bridge, then leave and go back? I know the post above says differently, but if that's the case then I remember differently.

Well, the Gamefaqs walkthroughs aren't always masterpieces of clear writing (or accurate info)... I'm stuck in Zelda: The Minish Cap and I'm growing closer and closer to buying a damn strategy guide!!!

To tell the truth, I don't remember how I managed to get the bridge repaired, but the Gamefaqs walkthrough extract I posted sounded right to me...

Yes I did exactly that and went back and talked to everyone again even each person working on the bridge.

Since it's been so long since i've played, i must say, i have not a single clue anymore.

I just consulted the Official Players Guide, and it pretty much says the same thing.
It could very well be you missed one person. Be sure you check every path and every house.
That's pretty much all we can say.
