Well, I happened to be passing EB today and I snagged my preorder bonus for Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga - the "controller armor". Turns out that it's ....

a sticker that goes over your controller. Booooooooooo

Biggest preorder letdown ever. Plus, the clerk is like "sure, take as many as you want" even though I'm the only person that preordered the game in the whole city. Just a bummer.

I did preorder Spy Vs. Spy for the Xbox tho :) THat made up for it...a whopping $22.99 Cdn w/tax.

Meh, not really. It has labels of what each button does though.

Yeah, I was let down too, but someone was getting me the game for a gift, so I thought i'd make sure to get one.

At least the game itself comes with a soundtrack CD.

Yeah, the sticker isn't even all that cool. Real bummer. The soundtrack CD does make up for it, but will only be available with the initial shipment of the game, just like SMT: Nocturne and Phantom Brave. Apparently it also comes in a slipcase so you can put SMT: DDS 2 in the same case with it when it comes out late this summer.

I was super dissappointed myself, but then again, I really didn't expect much. The game is supposed to be out the 5th, now, correct? I pre-ordered the game, but haven't heard a peep out of it, unfortunatly.

I was told tomorrow or Tuesday, but possibly as late as Friday. But Canada gets everything late.

is it one of those removable type stickers...or, once you put it on did you ruin your controller / will never be able to use the sticker on another controller if this one breaks / will never see your controller without the sticker again

That kind, unfortunately. It doesn't even appear to have the decency to be removable. I'm afraid to try it...plus I use a non-standard controller anyway....
