Nintendo has some really wierd commercials in Japan. Fashion accessory for the beautiful people?
The really wierd one was the ad with the girl who just mopes around her mansion all day with a DS. Turns out she's playing with a virtual dog. Lady! Get a real dog already!

Electroplankton was demonstrated at Nintendo's GDC 2005 Keynote. Take a look at Gamespot Live (http://www.gamespot.com/gslive/index.html) and scroll down.
