Original Atari Lynx system - Only tells me INSERT GAME

Those pesky Atari Lynx systems (bah) I am going to demand to see it in action before I buy another one!

I just bought an original Lynx and thought it would be cool to add to my collection. It was $10 with carrying bag and 6 games thought what the heck... well obviously the gal at flea market didn't test it (sniff)

I can get a screen that says..... INSERT GAME... I am pretty sure its got something to do with the pins... I was able to get one of the games to come on once.

It's dismantled and franticly cleaned... I think its in 1 of the pins.. anything else to look for?

Have you tried cleaning the contacts on the games?

Yeah clean the cart contacts and the lynx cartridge slot ... and insert and pull out the cards few times it should work it has worked for me on several lynxes in the past !
