shrinkwrapped gauntlet, dragon warrior and castlevania II from the out of the closet thrift. castlevania II has a $43.95 sticker on the back, gauntlet a $47.95 sticker, and dragon warrior a $49.95 sticker. i, however, was able to pick 'em up for $5 each.

Today was really dissappointing for me. I recently purchased some TI-99 games and I wanted to find the system without Ebaying it. So I went to every thrift I know of. I'm usually able to find at least a c64 or v20 so I figured a TI-99 wasn't that farfetched to find. NOTHING! Not only did I fail to find one in about 30 stores, I didn't find a single game I needed. The only game I purchased came from a gaming store that wouldn't dream about carrying TI-99 stuff. So here's my finds today:

When I went back to work and checked the DP guide, I was surprised that it goes for $18. I don't actually have a Genesis, so I'm not up on what's rare/in demand.

I also passed up a TI-99/4a I saw in Deseret Industries (Mormon-run Salvation Army equivalent here in Utah) along with several cartridges for it. While a cool collector's item, I couldn't really justify spending the cash for it - I like to play my systems and knew nothing about what (if any) good games are for it.
