To celebrate my birthday on Thursday, me and two close friends decided to play through one of my games in my collection. We wanted to play through something that was a challenge, something that we could never do in our childhood. After some discussion we all decided to play through Magician Lord on the Neo Geo AES, and about seven hours later, we finished! Working as a trio, we all put our heads together and without the use of the any walkthroughs or hints, we managed to beat that sucker! We started about 8:30 PM, and finished about 3:30 pm. Still jacked up on soda, I thought I would post this accomplishment and ask the dp forum if any of you had played a game through recently that was of stout challenge. I can safely say that I may never, ever, play the game again in my life.

well, you have to re fight all seven mini bosses and then face off the last wierd spiked brain hovering thing that shoots blue sperm at you(he actually has two forms, the second being the top part shooting green orbs at you. If you loose all of your lives then you continue at the first mini boss. Not too bad once you get the patterns down, but then again we were not using any help but our brains. We almost gave up a couple of times, but then one of us made progress. It was truly a marathon of gaming!

***spoiler alert for ending of game****

In the end it shows the books go back into the octogon thing you see at the start of the game and the credits roll. After seven hours of twitch gaming, any ending was worth seeing!

Wow, Congrats, that game's a bitch. I've always really liked it though, as hard as it is.
