Hi Everybody,
I am intrigued by the dreamcast emulators. I want to burn some, but my choice of computers is Mac. I am currently running Mac OS 10.3.8, G4 1.25Ghz with a cd burner. Here at work I use a G5 dual monster with a DVD burner.

How can I, or is there a site mac related to burn a emu for my Dreamcast?
I run all my emulators on my mac, and I want to port some over to my Dreamcast.
Thanks!
Daniel

goto www.dcemulation.com that is a great place to find out how to emulate on the DC. NesterDC is the awesome tool and the walkthrough to create a disk is fantastic. 8-)

dcescott, if you figure out how to burn them, let me know. I also have a Mac running 10.3 and I can't figure it out even with using the tutorial on DC Emulation. From what I remember, it calls for you to use some OS 9 burning app that you can't even get anymore and apparently Toast wont work on it's own either.

I've just been buying the emulator discs thru an online "dealer" of mine. I'd burn some copies for you but I can't even do that. x_x

Yeah, I'll figure out something and holler at you. I bought a MacMini, with a 1GB memory stick, very nice.

Okay here's what I did:
Downloaded Mac DreamCasTool 2.1, placed the app in my hard drive;
I wanted to create a Inducer Disc
picked out a sbi file (Taito Classics)
added sbi file
clicked the create an ISO file
optioned for a dummy file to fill up the rest.
copied and burned to my cd at a maximum rate

I'm using the stock cd burning software that comes with this computer.
MacMini with 10.3.8 Panther. The text file said it's okay to use. I had a choice of Toast Titanium 5.x6 or CDRecord-Compiled for OSX, I don't have a copy of either, but I shouldn't have to right? If so where can I get a copy?

When finished I put the cd in and it read it first as a music cd, but I couldn't play it. Pressing B to go back I went to the "play"
area and it wouldn't. Where did I go wrong ?

Try burning it without the dummy file, it is not necessary it is just there to save the Dreamcast some work and extend it's life so they say, and also try burning at 2x instead of whatever your top speed is. I remember having alot of trouble getting a dreamcast game burnt on a mac. Also try Bit torrent for a already ready game, then convert the image to a .img and then burn that at a low speed.
