Well ... it damn well ought to be for this price :D

Strangely, the second two bidders have reasonable feedback scores .. something kinda odd going on there ..

Maybe it is some sort of drug scam, don't see any other reason for that. The N64 comes full of cocaine or diamonds or something.

I think I would understand the auction better if i could understand the price exchange.

It's not hard - go to xe.com or just change the '.co.uk' in the address bar to '.com'.

It's basically $40,000. 2 of our U.S. dollars are worth about 1 English pound.

Somebody put a huge proxy to make sure they would get it, and they pecked the price up?

Possibly, but even the last half-way reasonable bid (£100) was far more than that bundle is worth. Something odd going on, anyway...

If it was a drug transaction, they wouldn't go putting some "hey, look at me" ebay auction up, that'd be retarded.
The guy's just trying to get people to LOOK AT THE AUCTION, which we're all DOING. This'll make more people remember his ID, or look at the other crap he's selling. Happens all the time, just designed to generate traffic.

how does the seller avoid paying the "Final value Fee" ( assuming the high bidder doesn't pay up)
Won't the seller be out 5% of 20,000 ( or something like that?
)

Man :roll: If you're going to shill bid at least make it a reasonable amount.
