He's bidding on my extra QIX game for the nes. The question I have is how in the world do I ship it to him if he wins, and how much will it cost. I generally ask for 4 bucks to cover First Class mail w/ confirmation & insurance. I don't mind if he wins, but I'm skeptical. I know I could have said no, but I didn't, maybe he'll drive up the price. I wouldn't mind having a PSP earlier than planned!!!

er...package it up and go to a Post Office (or whatever you call them over there).
You'll need to fill out a small customs slip (which basically involves writing "videogame" and an approximate value), but it's really nothing to be scared of.
Dunno how much your post costs, but for a single cart it won't be much. If I was to send one to the US it would cost me about £2 (~$3.80)

Thanks man,
A little bizarre for a guy way out in the middle of Europe to bid on a NTSC game. Hope the guy has a converter...

Bizarre, lol, i live in Europe and sell on ebay sometimes and i can understand when you sell something overseas you have your doubts.Don't worry i do trades and buy and sell stuff from and to us people alot, shipping can be a pain sometimes but usually is around $5-$8 from us to europe for a plain cart.If you really doubt alot about the package not arriving then you can ship with insurance, corse that costs more.

Yeah everything's great now, the cart wasn't released in europe, I found that out today. I makes sense now, that he wants the game. Bizarre to me, wrong word I guess LOL ., because this has never happened to me before. I usually don't have anything "must have" that folks want. BTW here's my ebay id
dynastyduo. I'm gradually selling games to save up for a PSP. Sometimes you have to consolidate & compromise esp when your wife says "another game system? You have 15 other, what's wrong with the other ones???"

Yeah I was gonna say, you should ask him why he's bidding and if he knows it is NTSC. But if it's a game that never made it to Europe, fair enough.
Shipping via airmail should only be a few $, package and weigh it.

Shipping via Airmail to Austria is $9.25 plus your expenses (assuming that the package is one pound or less). Shipping via ground would be cheaper but I'd never recommend shipping internationally that way since it generally takes 4-6 weeks to be delivered. Most people tend to leave negative feedback by that time.
Also keep in mind that this doesn't include any form of delivery confirmation so keep that in mind before you accept Paypal payment.
Here's (http://ircalc.usps.gov/intl_speed.asp?CID=10026&MailType=package&Pounds=1&Ounces=0) a link to the USPS International Shipping calculator where I got this rate.

Mark it as a gift on the green customs form. As a former European now living here I know they will appreciate that. Won't hurt you a bit either.
I have sold tons of games to Europeans. Never had any problems. Widens your potential buyer pool too.
A lot of Europeans collect American exclusives, and some even American games period. Importing is a lot more commonplace over there. Hardcore gamers often buy games from all three regions.

There is no problem to modify you NES to play all NES games. I've bought alot of NES games from USA and they work great on my european NES :)

I was just wondering on your auctions...are they worldwide or just USA? It's not that hard to ship to another country.

To be honest, I never really thought about it. If I did, I would open it up to the DP folks only. You guys seem to take care of the crooked ones quick like family (insert Godfather music). So yes, I will ship worldwide, tell me what you are looking for, I'm out hunting all the time, there's some great places down here in Texas. And when I'm selling (I mean giving up something), contact me and I'll make sure things will go alright.
