I’ve got two SNES copier/backup systems for sale. I believe the system called Super Smart Disk is a Pro Fighter X. There is a little Pro Fighter X sticker on the back of the system. The other system is a Super UFO Pro 8. Both systems can play all the big games. 32 MB Dram for the Pro Fighter X and 34 MB Dram for the UFO. I also have one SNES system for sale with a special AC adaptor that powers the SNES and has an Old Genesis/NES AC plug that will power one of the backup units. Both systems use external power supplies - they are not supplied but you can use an Old Genesis/Nes AC to help power the floppy drives.

I’m trying to buy a home so I’m not looking trade. However, I will trade one of the backups if someone wants to trade me a Super Wild Card DX backup system. I use to have one about 9 years ago so I eventually want to get one. I may have a couple other rare items up for sale in the coming weeks.

Just to let you know SNES Backup machines are not rare at all. Nice to have, but not rare.

I'd disagree with that. They're relatively rare in North America, and finding one in the wild is damn near unheard of these days.

True, they are hard to get in NA and finding them in the wild would be impossible. I just ment that they are easy to come by if you want to look for one (I.E. Asian Websites) which seems not to be out of th norm now adays.

I just updated my signature so you can see some of the past people I've sold to. You can also look up my ebay Id. I recently sold 2 debugging playstations on the board. I would think you have to consider backup units somewhat rare. Especially non Game Doctor backup units. Here is a link to Rob's site. How many of these systems have you seen first hand :)

Check the feedback forum; I've spend over a grand with Newby101. I would probably buy these but I've got about half a dozen SNES copiers at the moment. My main one is my Super Wild Card DX of course.

Please PM me offers for the backup units. I had some figures I wanted for each of the systems. The UFO 8 was one of the last backup units made and it can play all backup system formats so I would like more for that system. I know that Rob has an early game doctor for $65-70 and those are the easiest backup units to find.

Just as refernce, the last 32MB SNES backup unit I sold for 85 here on DP a few months ago so you should be able to get AT LEAST that for each of them. I may have stated they are not so rare but that doesn't mean they don't have a big price tag :D ;)

Word.

Other than Tototek.com, which has a pretty limited selection, copier systems for the 16 bit era are pretty hard to come by nowadays (this is not counting their homebrew stuff). Ebay is out, and it's often tough to find people even in message boards willing to sell. There's a few sites out there that sell, but they usually want quadruple what the systems are worth, and are usually pretty shady.

thx for the price info long_shawn_silver and the info on toteck rbudrick. I'll sell the Pro Fighter X for same price of $85 but I want more for the UFO. ... a backup unit in the wild, now thats an extremely rare sighting.

bump - still available - first $80 gets the Super Smart Disk Pro Fighter with 32 MB. Its also supposedly can back up gameboy. I only used it for Snes.
