Typical poor Logitech wheel. Will last less than a year if used frequently. The 900 degrees of movement is unecessary.
Cheaply made wheel, you have to spend much more to get decent quality. My current PC wheel cost 600 dollars, and I'm putting 400 more into it soon to add a clutch pedal and some other refinements. Oh and that wheel can work on a PC even though its not advertised, and Logitech will replace it without much of a hassle if a problem develops during the 12 month warranty period. Don't expect Logitech to send replacement potentiometers if you have a problem with jittery steering, trouble getting full brake/gas, etc. However, you can probably find a appropriate replacement potentiometer, I have before for other junk Logitech wheels before I got wise and stopped spending 150 dollars for wheels that last 6 months.

Whoa...6 months? You must really use them a lot - or else wash it in a bathtup full of water or something :P
Really, I don't use wheels...but 6 months seems pretty short for a $150 wheel. I dunno...

I've never used one myself, but I've never had a customer complain about anything on them. They all love them and think they're awesome.
Leo, I'm sure somebody who buys $2,000 wheels for their rigs thinks the same about your $600 wheel as you do about Logitech's $150 wheel ;)
I'm curious why you think the 900-degree rotation is unnecessary.
I'd say you can't go wrong with that wheel if you want an immersive experience. Heck the $80 wheel is just fine- that force feedback is amazing. Regardless, they're both ages beyond the Madcatz wheels out there.

The 900 degrees thing is cool, but really confusing because you dont know when your at full lock. I think theres a little guage at the bottom of the GT4 screen, but it still confused the hell out of me- coming from 4 years of a sidewinder precision pro wheel on PC with like 300 degrees max.

I spend my evenings racing, rather than watching tv. I'll usually run something like 2 hour grand prix F1 races in Grand Prix Legends or F1 Challenge 99'-02', or 300 mile NASCAR races in NASCAR Racing 2003 season, etc.
So I guess I wear them out quicker than normal people.
"I'm curious why you think the 900-degree rotation is unnecessary."
Because I think its a gimmick because GT4 is supposed to have street cars in it. In real racing, lock to lock it might have between 350-400 degrees of travel in a real racecar.
When I'm running something like Daytona, I'm probably only using 10 degrees of rotation for example.
Might work for GT4 I suppose, I need to try it out soon (Got the wheel when it was released to do a review of it).
And yeah, you're right. The guys with 2000 dollar + ECCI wheels say the same things about my wheel right now that I'm saying about Logitech wheels. :)

I've had one of the older GT Force wheels from when Gran Turismo 3 came out years ago and I've heavily abused it and it's still working fine. :) It's mainly been put through three years of GT3 and many many many hours of Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero.
I saw this thing at Best-Buy awhile back and it looked pretty nice, I didn't get to use it because it was non-responsive :/

its a really nice wheel, and if you have a sams club around your place, they sell it for 95 bucks
def worth 95 bucks, and works great with all racing games.
