GC Resetting itself?

I searched Google, but came up with nothing. Anyways, my Gamecube seems to be resetting itself on it's own lately. It just makes a click, and then restarts. Anyone else ever encounter this problem? My girlfriend is getting tired of being yelled at by Mr. Resetti. Thanks!

The only thing that comes to mind is that F-Zero GC makes certain GC's reset spontaneously. Apparently, if you have this problem, the problem lies with your GC (due to some miniscule defect), not with the game, and Nintendo will allegedly replace your system.

That's all I can think of.
