I am selling off a ton of Japanese Megadrive games at the moment, along with some PAL, including the infamous Zero Wing ("all your base are belong to us!")

There's also some Master System games too. Some quite hard to find MD stuff, such as Bio Ship Paladin / Spaceship Gomora, and plenty of shooters (Thunderforce III & IV, Arrow Flash, etc etc.) - and Panorama Cotton, mint with registration card!
Good luck to all! I am shortly moving to a new job that will be paying me a lot less than I am currently on, and I will need to be finding extra income to pay the rent & bills, so it may be that I continue to auction quite a few items, as long as I carry on sourcing them effectively. Otherwise I am going to have to find an evening job to top me up, which would suck :(
Anyways .. good luck wth the auctions!
Also, a friend of mine is selling up a lot of stuff in order to clear out and to move to London - he comes highly recommended from me, and all his stuff will be in good nick - here it is:

Is that Rocket Knight Adventures not an Asian copy, like the Shining Force's that dojar constantly has for sale?

To be honest, I haven't a clue! The manual is identical to the PAL manual - with all the European languages in it .. which would seem a bit strange for an Asian release. And the Megadrive logo on the cart and box are the PAL logo. But as you can see, the cart is Japanese / Asian shape, and the info on the back says made in Japan and has the Japanese copyright / licensiing info.
So I really have no idea!

Yeah, I'd guess it probably is then - I'm aware of 3 different styles of packaging for Asian MD games - the black box with gold Mega Drive logo (like the copies of Shadowrun & Young Indy you had a while back); the mis-matched PAL/JP copies like this and Shining Force; and games that are basically the same as Japanese copies except with "Asian Version" either printed on the cover (eg Sonic, Sonic 2) or just as a sticker on the cover (eg. Golden Axe III).
I've been trying to gather info on these Asian releases, but it's pretty sporadic. From what I have seen, they seemed to get a wierd mix of games - some were otherwise only available in Europe (eg Captain Planet), some that are otherwise US-only (eg Cadash), and some that are otherwise JP-only (eg. Golden Axe III again).

Hmm .. I suppose for the collector, the real question is whether you can tell the difference, on that last sort, between the Japanese version and the Asian version if the "Asian Version" sticker is not there?
E.g. Golden Axe III is easily available for $10 or so, in the Asian version. The actual Japanese version is less common, but if you just peeled that sticker off would there be any way to distinguish the two?

I've not been able to compare any examples, but the descriptions I've read about them have suggested there's no difference. I'd imagine the Asian ones may well have a different barcode aswell, though that's possibly also a sticker.

** BUMP FOR LAST DAY of auctions **
Loads of stuff still for less than $2 - or even with no bids at all! Get yourself a bargain, and help clear my shelves. I have to get rid of this all, I don't want any of this stuff hanging around after these auctions finish ... so anything that's not won, you can come and check the charity shops of North London for in a week or two's time!
