is it just me or does anyone else smell greed involving the midway collection 2's withdrawl of MK1 and the not so later release of the plug and play MK1 game? i don't even know why they're including those ps2-era models getting kicked out of the screen in the commericial.

Actually I smell someone who didn't first do a roundtable search.
MK1 was originally pulled from Arcade Treasures so that it could be an incentive to purchase "MK:Deception", which included MK1 as a bonus.

I smell the Genesis version in that plug and play, which really isn't comparable at all.
If it makes you feel better, I gave some Midway PR reps a hard time about it. I sat down with them and an early playable of Treasures 2, which still had MK1. "Ooh, what's this?" "That's...not supposed to be there." "I want to play this! (click)" "That's not going to be in the actual..." "It's so awesome that you guys are including the entire trilogy instead of splitting them up, I'll have to recommend this product for that reason alone!" "sigh."
