I just ran into an annoying little problem.
I've been playing Legend of Zelda : Majora's Mask for about a month now. Don't tend to spend nearly as much time playing games now as I used to. Well, yesterday I beat the Ikana Canyon Dungeon, got the final mask, then saved the game. Today I started it up, stopped the moon, transported onto the moon and was in the lovely green field, went to the tree, talked to the masked kid, and entered the battle against Majora's Mask.
I lost three times. It annoyed me, mainly because Zelda bosses are really just a manner of learning the repition. Well I got upset enough to take a break (due to teeth grinding and cussing). I came online, read a few threads, chatted in #Vbender, and then decided to give the end boss another try.
But when I loaded my game, it started me off at a location I was at about a week ago!!! All progress since then has been lost. All I wanted to do was beat the game! Anyone have anything similar happen to them? I mean, the progess is exactly where I was a week ago. Same masks, same items, sme weapons. Everything reverted back to immediately after my save following the success of obtaining the Zora's, evil fish mask....
I don't comprehend how this happens either. I understand that each save just adds onto the previous save, but wouldn't the entire file be corrupted, or is it possible for just part of it to goto ruins? If you've even heard of this happening to someone else, it would make me feel better about my own loss.
