Thanks I have been waiting for the price to drop on one of these. Has anyone tried the gamestop hd system selector for 24.00?

I have the $20 one (if that's what you're referring to)...two of them, actually. 5 switches, simple and easy to set up. Easily worth the price (and strangely it works even if you don't plug in the a/c adaptor).

the a/c adapter is for the hub part of that switcher.

Dunno if it's what the next post was referring to but the AC adapter is if you're going to use it as an AV (RCA cables) to RF converter, it boosts the signal. But yeah, these are excellent and provide a solid and interferrence free solution to multiple console connectivity.

Well the one I bought yesterday has a remote control, so you have to use the AC plug. I know many people on these boards swear by this selector system.

I've already bought one. It's okay, but not great.

I also have this one and agree that it is a great deal.

I think I'll go with the "buy a few 20 dollar ones and link them together" approach... you get more connections for cheaper, I think.

I would call $50 a great deal for that. I shelled out the $100 for it and am very happy with it, alot better than trying to use 2 smaller boxes, looks alot better and it is more convenient. Only problem I have with it is at $100 it would have been nice if they had some button markers for older systems...

I have two of the $20 selectors and i had to use a small label maker to make buttons for the older systems.

It works out for the better because the labels are black text on white instead of grey on black like the normal buttons.

Don't the buttons on the $100 selector light up?

Heh, wanna know WHY it's on sale? Because everytime I buy something over $50 it goes on sale like a month later. LOL

The buttons do indeed light up, and I'll be yet another person to say that $50 is a great deal for this thing.
