Importing Suiko 1 save to Suiko 2 *Spoiler*

I remember hearing that Suikoden II incorrectly imports the name of your main character from Suikoden I. I saw a post somewhere about Gameshark codes or using a DexDrive to hex edit the name to make it correct. Now I cant find the info to do it, does anyone know where I can find it?

Wow, good thing I knew this before playing Suikoden 2.

Not that it would have ruined the game, but it's still nice to fix it.
